Take Stock in Children

 

College Scholarship Opportunity!


Take Stock in Children is a mentorship and scholarship program that provides mentors, college and career readiness, scholarships and long-term support to selected, qualified students.  Each student is matched with a mentor and provided with resources and tools to not only graduate from high school but also successfully transition to college. Students are held accountable for their grades, attendance, behavior, and commit to remaining drug/crime free. At graduation and completion of the program, students are awarded up to 4-years of college tuition in the form of a Florida Prepaid College Savings Plan.


Student Eligibility Criteria:

  • Santa Rosa student in grades 7-9
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Legal US resident 
  • Demonstrate financial need 
  • Be determined to succeed!!!


Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.  All applications must be complete and include income eligibility documentation.  Students will be notified of application status no later than April 1, 2025.

2025 TSIC New Student Applications are fully digital for the first time ever!

Please note that the following information is necessary to complete the application:

  • Student Social Security Number
  • Student ID Number
  • Separate Email Address for Parent and Student
  • Income Eligibility Documents - 2023 IRS form 1040 with student listed as a dependent.  If you do not file taxes, please contact our office for other options.
